Welcome to Pack 55
Scouting America: Prepared. for Life.
Pack 55 is a traditional Cub Scout pack serving the Great Falls and surrounding communities.
We’re all about encouraging boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge.
Cub Scout Pack 55 serves boys and girls from kindergarten through 5th grade.

Who We Are
Join Us
Scouts have the opportunity to learn and grow in important character-building ideals while participating in fun activities such as: day hikes, family camping, Pack campfires, biking, crafts, Pinewood Derby, and summer camp.
We are committed to providing our Scouts with an opportunity to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence, and reinforce ethical standards.
Our Mission

Make a Difference
Through the training and the example of the leader, Scouts are taught independence, leadership, the ambition to learn by themselves, and a moral code with positive goals. The good deed is a key component of the law and promise. Fulfilling our duty to others makes us happy, which fulfills the duty to ourselves. The point is not so much the deed itself, which could be minor, but to teach the Scout to always pay attention and recognize if he could help someone.
Outdoor Skills
In the outdoors, youth have opportunities to acquire skills hat make them more self-reliant and self-confident. Activities and games provide a fun way to develop skills and provide contact with nature and the environment when pursued in an outdoor setting. Scouts learn in small groups to build unity, and a family atmosphere.
Timeless Values
Developing the characteristics of responsibility, self-reliance, self-confidence, and readiness, the Scouts eventually learn collaboration and leadership skills. An attractive program of varying activities expands a Scout's horizons and bonds the Scout even more to the group.
Our Activities
We inspire young scouts to learn, explore, and build lasting friendships through fun activities and community service.
Outdoor Fun
Hiking, camping, fishing, and nature games that bring scouts closer to the outdoors. It uses the natural surroundings to contribute significantly to physical, mental, spiritual, and social growth.

Community Service
Helping neighbors and learning responsibility through local projects. Scouts learn that the work that they do can make a real impact in the world.

Pinewood Derby
The Pinewood Derby is a signature scouting event where Cub Scouts design, carve, paint, and race small, gravity-powered wooden cars. Held annually, usually in early spring, it fosters STEM skills, teamwork, and parent-child bonding.

Den and Pack Meetings
Den and pack meetings are some of the most important aspects of being a Cub Scout. A Cub Scout pack includes Cubs of all ages and grades, while a Den is a smaller group within the pack. Our Pack meets once a month, and our Dens meet once or twice per month with each Den selecting their best meeting days.
